Centerfold?

One of the things that everyone likes about "Sailing" magazine is the large sized format and great photos. In the latest issue there is an article about cruising on Lake Champlain and a great shot of VSP sails on George and Sam Chandler's lovely Sabre 426 "Peregrine" seen here:
Well, OK it's not quite the centerfold shot, but George looks pretty happy that he's able to cross on port. Interestingly enough, we are building a new D4 mainsail for their boat right now. It is a membrane sail with black aramid fibers and an internal layer of taffeta for added durability. As Sam and George mostly sail shorthanded, the sail is also fitted with a Dutchman sail handling system and a Strong Sail track by Tides Marine for ease of raising and lowering the sail. Their electric winch helps too!
