Long Arms

This year we purchased this new Durkopp Adler 525i sewing machine.  The 30" arm makes it a lot easier for sailmaking.  We've found it really useful for sewing corner patches, seaming larger sails, applying UV covers to roller furling genoas and particularly helpful for repairs on large sails.

 

And here you can see how this helps keep your new sails "wrinkle free" when we are building them!
